As an undergraduate studying computer science, I strive to learn as much as possible in order to strengthen my understanding of the topics in the field. I am a hardworking individual who takes every opportunity as a chance to learn something new and I take a lot of pride in what I do while stopping at nothing to accomplish my goals.

I am proficient in Python, C, JavaScript, and Java and am also familiar with C++, C#, TypeScript, and web and app development. I also have experience using a variety of frameworks and libraries such as Rasa, .NET, React-Native, Svelte, BootStrap, PyTorch, Tensorflow, and OpenCV.


Experience:

R&D Software Developer Intern at the Mixed Emerging Technology Integration Lab
  in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy and Oak Ridge Enhanced Technology
  and Training Center


 - Utilized Unity to create a singleplayer training simulation to create more efficient and interactive
   training sessions

 - Created a local rest API server utilizing Flask and Ollama written in Python which allows for
   communication with a large language model (LLM)

 - Formulated individual feedback using the Llama 3.2 LLM and made API calls in C# to a local rest API server

Bloomberg Tech Lab Fellow

 - One of 40 students selected to collaborate with Bloomberg engineers in a small group setting to
   build an application using RabbitMQ and Docker

 - Utilized Python to design and implement a robust message queue system using RabbitMQ, enhancing
   real-time data processing and communication between producer and consumer components

 - Developed a deeper understanding of core Python/CS concepts (Classes, Inheritance, OOP), as well as
   financial domain knowledge (Tickers, Industry Sectors)

Software Engineer Intern at JP Morgan Chase and Co.

 - Developed and deployed a chatbot that answers questions and retrieves requested information
   using Rasa and Python

 - Implemented an API that facilitates the transfer of data between the chatbot and a variety of
   microservices by utilizing Java and Spring Boot

 - Created a pipeline for the purpose of deploying the chatbot for both development and production

 - Trained the chatbot to handle a wide variety of user inputs and to determine the specific information
   that is returned to the user

Undergraduate Research Assistant

 - Add, maintain, and refine features on a website that aims to assist children
   with special needs

 - Implement new ideas that increase interest in STEM and provide resources to help
   special needs children understand topics such as bullying, cyber-attacks, etc.

Undergraduate Teaching Assistant

 - Grade assignment efficiently and accurately, reducing wait times for grades by 25% and allowing
   students to improve and rectify previous mistakes

 - Improve understanding of course material among students and increase grade average by
   10% by creating problems and reviews that simplify complex topics
